Events are essential to our mission, serving as critical support channels that enable us to care for and shelter animals in need. Each contribution, big or small, plays a pivotal role in sustaining our efforts, ensuring we can continue providing love and care to countless animals. These events are more than just fundraisers; they are vital lifelines that empower us to maintain our commitment and high standards of animal welfare.
Your support through these fundraisers is invaluable. It helps us to not only meet the immediate needs of these animals but also to uphold our long-standing tradition of being a safe haven for the region's most vulnerable pets. Join us in making a meaningful difference in their lives and contribute to a legacy of compassion and care that has spanned decades.
Join us at The Alley on March 25th from 4–8 PM and help support the Highland County Humane Society.
We’ll be donating 10% of all proceeds during that time to help care for our furry friends.
Come enjoy great food, good company, and know you’re making a difference in the lives of animals in our community!
Turning Walks into Peaceful Strolls
Leash reactivity can make walks miserable for everyone involved — you, your dog, and even the people around you. It’s hard to enjoy time with your dog when every walk turns into barking, lunging, and frustration.
Sometimes it can feel hopeless, like nothing will ever change. Many people think “eventually they’ll figure it out.” Unfortunately, that rarely works. Your dog reacts, you get frustrated and react back, and the cycle continues until you start avoiding walks altogether or wishing your dog behaved differently.
But there is hope.
Fixing leash reactivity isn’t just about correcting the behavior after it happens. It’s about understanding why it happens and learning how to prevent it before it starts. When you understand your dog and learn how to be proactive instead of reactive, walks can become enjoyable again.
Join us for a LIVE webinar and start changing your walks for the better!
